Sophia is here!

 

Introducing Sophia Small!  The smallest of the Smallsens.  Our beautiful baby girl came into this world 8 days overdue, weighing 7 lbs. 8 oz.  I brought her into this world all natural (and with no drugs!).  I'm so thankful that I didn't rip or tear and didn't need any stitches.  I also had a pretty quick labor and only had to push her for 15 minutes. 

 

We had a private room - but even in a private room, you still hear everything else that's going on in the other rooms, so we were definitely glad to go home after 1 night.

 

She's only 4 days old as I type this post, but I'm amazed at what she can do already!  She has such strong reflexes already and can kick and punch up a storm.  She's also on her way to holding up her head already.  She's all about sleeping at day, and being awake at night - which is currently making mommy very tired. 

 

Nick & I love her so much, and we definitely feel that Christmas came early with our little angel :)
