2 Months with Bright Eyes!! And Valentines Recap

Valentines Day and this beauty turned 2 months!!  I cant believe how fast time has gone.

 

 

I took her in for her 2 month shots and she was such a trooper!  Once the needle was out and she got her pacifier, she was all happy again.  So our family Dr also measured her, and for 2 month old babies the normal height is anywhere between 52-60cm.  Our Sophie is 62cm, so clearly we got a tall one on our hands :)  Babygirl weighed in at 11lbs 6oz which is right in the middle of the healthy weight too :)  The Dr also said she has really good head control and strong limbs, so it will just be a matter of time before she can sit up on her own!

 

Valentines Day was perfect too.  Filled with love, good food & wine, and of course flowers.  I cooked my love breakfast in bed with sweet potato/wild salmon/feta/avocado hash and it was amazing.  This will definitely become a morning staple.

We spent the most of the day lounging in bed watching Netflix movies - including The Fault in the Stars.  That movie is so sad!  Seriously, we both cried :(  After indulging in scallops/lobster and cheese, we finished off the day with some delish sweets from a local bakery.  Hope everyone had an amazing weekend filled with love, and laugher from the SNL reunion.
