1. Seawall Strolls - The Vancouver seawall is 22km (13.7 miles) of pure ocean bliss. This is where every outdoorsy Vancouverite usually flocks to on a sunny weekend for a walk/jog/cycle/skate. I feel like the seawall will always have my heart, as I've spent my whole life absorbing its beauty. This is the place to catch gorgeous sunsets, stop at random beaches or patios along the way, or watch the city lights and mountain backdrops. I cant wait to pack up that baby stroller and introduce Sophia to this Vancouver gem soon :)
3. Barbeques!!!! Whether at a friends house for a pool party, or a bbq at the beach - this is something I miss all year round!
5. Summertime Events - Whether its the watching the sensational fireworks at the Celebration of Light, indulging in fancy grilled cheese sandwiches & mint lemonade at the weekend Food Truck Festival, catching a Caps game, dancing the day away in the beer garden at Caribbean Days or Latin Days, and everything in between - there is always an event happening every weekend. It's the perfect place to meet up with friends, and soak up what the city has to offer.
Happy Friday darlings!!
Those pictures of/near the seawall are SO pretty! But my favorite pic is your hubby tending the grill with a fork. Somehow that little fork just makes me laugh!
ReplyDeletehahahaha I know right. It was from his first time barbequing ever! So he had his phone to google how to bbq wings. I loved it as he was trying so hard to be king of our mini grill.
DeleteBeautiful! I lived in Seattle for a few years and had the wonderful opportunity to travel to Vancouver. Fantastic area! :) Thank you for sharing your pics!
ReplyDeleteThanks Joy! Seattle is also a wonderful place to visit, and I love Pike Place Market :)
DeleteYou are really making me long for those warm weather days! Bring on the barbecues and patio beverages!
ReplyDeleteHurry Up Summer!!!
DeleteNormally I would just love reading a post like this, but right now, as I shovel several feet of snow out of my driveway in negative fifteen temps, I just want to cry...
ReplyDeleteThis place is breathtakingly beautiful!
Eeeek! If it makes you feel better, my mom lives in the Yukon in an area where its so cold in the winter, you have to wear goggles when you go outside or your eyelids will freeze shut from the cold tears. Hopefully that snow disappears soon! I only like snow on the mountains - where I can actually plan to visit it and be prepared - not actually have it linger around where it gets all icy and gross :(
DeleteThose pictures are amazing, and who doesn't love a bbq! Can't wait to have some this summer.
ReplyDeleteHurry Up Summer!
DeleteI loved all these pictures.. and now I really want a beer! ;) Have a great week!
